RCN Wales is a registered Agored Centre, enabling us to offer accredited, credit-bearing taught units that contribute to the ongoing professional development of health care support workers and registered nurses working across Wales.

Compassionate Conversations programme
The Compassionate Conversations programme is designed to support you to hold compassionate conversations in your practice, with the goal of creating a sense of trust and emotional connection, ensuring patients feel valued and understood, especially during challenging times. Gain 4 credits at Level 3.
Compassionate Leadership programme
The Compassionate Leadership programme introduces the principles of Compassionate Leadership for Health and Social Care in Wales (2020) and will equip participants to identify and apply these principles to deliver an inclusive, engaged, sustainable, flexible and responsive workforce in health and social care. Gain 2 credits at Level 3.
Professional Nurse Advocate programme
The professional nurse advocate programme provides registered nurses with the knowledge and skills to become professional nurse advocates (PNAs). The programme equips nurses to enhance staff well-being, improve patient care, and drive quality improvement initiatives. Gain 20 credits at Level 7.
Advanced Leadership in Nursing Practice programme
The Advanced Leadership in Nursing Practice programme is designed to support registered nurses develop skills in leading and managing themselves and their teams to drive change and deliver excellent patient centred care in complex healthcare settings. Gain 20 credits at Level 7.
