Welcome to the RCN Lancashire West branch page. If you're an RCN member and you work between Ormskirk and Cumbria, then you will automatically be a member of the Lancashire West branch. The branch represents some 12,000 nurses and is your local voice of the RCN.
The branch meets four times a year, usually every three months, whilst smaller workplace meetings are usually held as and when needed. The branch brings members together to discuss a range of nursing and health issues that directly affect them. Every year, the branch will also discuss RCN Congress and arrangements to submit resolutions or matters for discussion as well as attendance. We also organise various events and seminars on a range of topical issues from time to time. This year we've organised a branch conference and seminars on NMC revalidation.
You can check if you're a member of the Lancashire West branch by looking at MyRCN. We use this page to publicise meetings and events, so please do get in touch with the regional office if you have any queries by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
