At the 2015 AGM, the branch held a listening exercise on priorities. The priorities and activity for us as a branch are:

  • Pay and Rewards
  • Lack of GP services
  • Staffing and skill mix
  • CQC specialists
  • Quality Branch Activities
  • Revalidation
  • NMC Charges
  • Stat and Man for independent workers
  • Availability of reps
  • More updates (member engagement)

The branch is looking for ways to move forward on  all these issues and are very keen to tap into the talent of our large number of members so if you have a bright idea you would like support with or a workplace issue then please let me know gerard.swinton@rcnreps.org.uk and I will see how we can help move forward.
