Fertility, Immunology and Natural Killer Cells
The RCN Fertility Nursing Forum will hold their first mini seminar of 2024 featuring Julie Morgan, MSc, RGN, APM (PFQ) exploring immunology support within UK fertility treatments and its alignment with the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA). Our speaker will explore the role of natural killer (NK) cells, a key component of the immune system, in fertility challenges and treatments. Discover the latest research, insights, and regulatory considerations regarding NK cells and fertility care. This session offers a concise and informative discussion on the intersection of immunology and reproductive medicine within the regulatory framework of the HFEA. Don't miss this opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and engage in stimulating dialogue. The session is being chaired by Anne Howard, deputy chair of the forum.
