Nurse to patient ratios in critical care
We've written to Dale Bywater, Midlands Regional Director of NHS England/NHS Improvement, to express concern about reports that the organisation has directed NHS hospital trusts in the region to further dilute the ratio of critical care nurses to patients beyond the 1:2 ratio agreed as an emergency, temporary measure in November 2020.
