    The impact of Domestic Abuse on an individual’s mental health is known to have a significant  impact and can result in severe anxiety and depression but what is less discussed is its prevalence for those experiencing psychosis, mood disorders, substance misuse,  life threatening self-harming behaviour and suicide. Whether being the victim of domestic abuse or witnessing it within the home the long-term impact can be catastrophic.
