This session will explore the similarities and differences between supporting someone dying from frailty and old age as opposed to the more traditional end of life and palliative care scenarios, such as someone dying from cancer.
Presented by Maggie Keeble, Care Home GP and Clinical Lead for the Integrated Care for Older People (ICOPE) in Worcestershire, the workshop will cover recognition, conversations and future planning, symptom control, anticipatory prescribing and care in the last days of life.
