The RCN North West Regional Board and Cheshire East branch are running a two-day Digital Activist Programme to help members use the Internet and digital media as key platforms for mass mobilisation and political action.
This is a revolutionary new programme to learn cutting-edge techniques from leading internet campaigns and how to effectively mobilise thousands of members in campaigns and activity.
Delegates can expect:
- To learn best practices from across the world in using a range of social media and technology tools (including Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, Blogs, Podcasts, etc)
- To learn from other social movements, organisations and political campaigns in the UK and internationally
- To learn how to use technology to engage with and co-ordinate members
- Become a powerful resource to boards, branches, forums and member groups
- To learn how to make best use of existing RCN digital tools and technology
All meals and accommodation are included. Applications should include your full name, RCN membership number, address, telephone number, email address and a written submission of up to 500 words on why you want to be on this programme. Applications must received by 5pm on Monday 4th November and we will confirm your place by Wednesday 6 November.
