Relax and keep warm with RCN Libraries

Starting in January 2023, RCN Libraries will be open as warm spaces and we’d encourage you to pop in and relax, grab a free hot drink, check email, and meet friends.

Main offers (all four country libraries)
All our libraries across the UK offer RCN members free hot drinks, Wi-Fi, phone chargers and computers: members can charge their devices and relax with a book and a cuppa or check their emails.
All libraries have wellbeing activities, such as colouring books, jigsaw puzzles, and fiction to browse.
All members are welcome to pop in and use our spaces – you don’t need to be working or studying to do so.

RCN Library and Heritage Centre (London), 20 Cavendish Square, London W1G 0RN
Open to all Monday to Friday, 10am – 7pm and Saturday 10am – 5pm.

Meet friends or bring family: accompanied children and guests are welcome. We have two public exhibitions with a family trail, games, and activities for kids.

RCN Northern Ireland Library and Information Zone (Belfast), 17 Windsor Avenue, Belfast BT9 6EE

Open to members Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.
Free book swap of fiction, poetry and cookbooks.
Wellbeing area for members, with mindfulness activities – puzzles, games, colouring books and pencils.
Free onsite car parking for members.

RCN Wales Library and Information Service (Cardiff), Ty Maeth, King George V Drive East, Cardiff CF14 4XZ

Open to members Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.

Nursing-related fiction and wellbeing section, plus colouring books.
Free onsite car parking for members.

RCN Scotland Learning Hub (Edinburgh), 42 South Oswald Road, Edinburgh EH9 2HH

Open to members Tuesday and Wednesday, 10am – 4pm.
An exhibition on the history of nursing registration to browse.
Free wellbeing activities including games and colouring books.
Free onsite car parking for members.
