Welcome to the Every Nurse an eNurse online learning course.

The RCN’s “Every Nurse an eNurse” course has helped define the skills, knowledge and training to help nursing staff exploit new digital and data technologies for better care. Designed with leading experts from our eHealth forum, this course is a two-part introduction to the ways technologies are changing health and social care.

Introduction to Technology Enabled Care Services covers:

  • the types of Technology Enabled Care Services in use
  • how patients and nurses can benefit from them
  • the digital skills required to use them effectively.

Introduction to Data covers:

  • the importance of data and its usage in service planning, quality improvement and patient safety
  • how patient data can be safeguarded
  • how data drives innovation and shapes new services.
