Sunday Times Top 100 Companies and Best Companies

Last year, 2011, was a historic year for the RCN, as we were awarded “Best Companies to Work for” status and made our debut in the prestigious Sunday Times Top 100 UK Employers list at number 51.  Following our re-application the RCN have been included in 2012’s Top 100 list and retained our Best Companies accreditation coming in at number 21.

Investors in People - Gold

In July 2012 the Royal College of Nursing has been awarded the prestigious Investors in People (IiP) gold standard, the highest form of accreditation available from IiP. We have also received special recognition for our health and wellbeing programme. Being awarded the Investors in People recognition mark is a great achievement. The Investors in People Standard is a national UK framework and is a standard of good practice in developing people intended to be achievable by all organisations. It enables organisations to benchmark their own practices against a nationally recognised standard.
