Career Development Pathways

The RCN Critical Care and Flight Nursing Forum is committed to having a visible presence in critical care and flight nursing, and to positively promote careers within these environments.

Having a career in flight nursing, medical assistance or critical care is an exciting and challenging environment to work in, with significant scope for development. The work is challenging, diverse and often complex in terms of meeting patient's needs.

As a forum we often get asked how nurses can get into the industry and any advice we can offer in terms of education and career pathways. We have interviewed several key nurses from the forum about their careers, advice and top tips.

If you are interested in also sharing your experience please do get in touch as we would love to hear from you.
