The Welsh Government is seeking your views on its draft https://www.gov.wales/tobacco-and-vapes-packaging-appearance-and-display They want your views on proposals for future regulations related to the Tobacco and Vapes Act.

The purpose of the consultation is to understand views on proposals for future regulations related to the Tobacco and Vapes Act. The consultation asks questions in relation to three areas of proposed regulation:

• restrictions on the packaging of tobacco, vaping and nicotine products
• restrictions on the appearance of heated tobacco devices and vaping devices
• restrictions on the shop display of tobacco, vaping and nicotine products

This consultation has been rated ‘response needed’, therefore we would appreciate your views and comments. Please also feel free to circulate this e-mail to fellow RCN members, RCN networks, Forums, and colleagues.

To allow time for our authorisation process we would need to receive any comments by Friday 21 August 2026.
