Diversity and monitoring information

The RCN is proud of the diversity of the UK’s nursing workforce and our membership. It is important to us that nominations are encouraged from under-represented groups in our governance structures including those who identify as women, members of the Global Majority, LGBTQ+ community and those with a disability.

Providing your ethnicity helps us ensure that our services are meeting the needs of every one of our members. This information will be treated in the strictest confidence and will only be used to evaluate membership trends.

Your nomination will be stored in line with the RCN’s data retention policy.

By providing us with the name and contact details of your nominators, you confirm that they have provided consent to be contacted in relation to this nomination.

The contact details you provide us with are only used in relation to this election. They will not be used to update your RCN membership records unless you instruct us to do so.
