Headache is an important and growing specialty within nursing practice. Headache disorders, including migraine, represent one of the most common neurological conditions worldwide. This guidance details the critical and evolving role of headache nurse specialists in delivering comprehensive, high-quality care for individuals living with headache disorders. Mapping these roles to the RCN levels of practice provides clarity on career development and supports consistent, evidence-based service delivery across health care settings.
