Do you need help with a family law issue, or another area of law?

 

Family law

From May 2018, members will be able to access 30 minutes free legal advice on family law matters via our partners, Stephensons Solicitors. We are pleased to offer this new service to members in direct response to feedback.

Stephensons are a market leader in this area and have won many awards for the services they provide to their clients. They are active and leading members of (or approved by) a number of key associations including The Law Society Children Panel, Resolution, and Child Concern.

The areas of law they are able to assist members with include:

  • divorce law
  • financial and property issues following relationship breakdown
  • children law (residence and contact, adoption, parental abduction)
  • child care proceedings and children’s services involvement
  • agreements and financial settlements
  • ending a civil partnership
  • representation in the family courts.

Complete this online form, and a representative from Stephensons will call you back at a time/date of your choosing.

If you want to engage the services of a Family Lawyer after receiving your free 30 minutes advice, Stephensons will be able to offer these to you at a competitive rate.

Please note: this service is available to members across the four UK countries with the exception of the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.
