How much do you know about job evaluation, the new national nursing job profiles, and how this affects how much you get paid?
The government has instructed NHS employers in England to review every band 5 job description, but this is just the start. All nursing jobs should be reviewed or have recently undergone a review against these new profiles – no matter which band you’re on.
The Lancashire West branch is holding an online Q&A session with Senior Regional Officer Mary-Anne Parkinson? It will cover:
- Your job description and what you as post holders are required to do as the job you are employed to do
- NHS job evaluation process and how you can ensure your pay reflects your job role
- Job matching
- Yor pay band
- What to do if you think your role is undervalued
- Getting involved – we need you active in the workplace
