This online session will introduce reps across England to the Employment Law Bill 2026.
The aim of this workshop is for RCN stewards and health and safety reps to discover how to critically evaluate workplace policies, empower members to have a voice in the process and master the principles behind creating fair, effective, and inclusive policies that work in light of changes in the employment law bill.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the workshop, learners will be able to:
- Describe the purpose and power of workplace policies
- Outline how policies are reviewed and the opportunities for reps to influence
- Explain how to critique a policy to determine the quality and fairness of the content and implementation
