11 Nov 2026, 12:00 - 15:30
Choose event information:
RCN Bedfordshire members are invited to attend your reconvened Annual General Meeting and branch learning event.
Unfortunately we were unable to elect officials at the last AGM, so a new meeting has now been arranged for 11 November in the committee room at Bedford Hospital.
As well as the AGM, this session will also include a learning event focussing on safeguarding (adults, children and learning disabilities) and an update on job evaluation.
The AGM is your chance to make a difference by shaping local branch activities for the year ahead and electing your branch officials.
During the AGM, members will elect Branch Officials, including:
- Chair
- Secretary
- Treasurer
Could you help lead the branch?
Why not consider standing for one of the branch committee positions? Please read the RCN governance branch role descriptions to check your eligibility and capacity. Being a Branch Official is a rewarding personal and professional development opportunity, allowing you to represent members and help shape the direction of the branch. You can nominate yourself for a position on the committee by completing the nomination form before the AGM. If you can attend one branch meeting a year, please make it your AGM.
Branch meetings provide an opportunity to have your say on local and regional priorities, hear about how current work across the region and connect with fellow RCN members.
