Choose event information:
You are invited to attend a learning session on menopause awareness, hosted by Suffolk branch.
Everyone experiences menopause differently and symptoms, views, philosophies on management and medical histories vary from person to person.
The session aims to support both those experiencing menopause symptoms and those supporting others. It will provide you with knowledge and understanding of menopause, including where to signpost for help. This session is open to everyone, regardless of age, gender or where you work.
The session will help you:
- Gain a better understanding of what menopause is and how it can affect people differently.
- Learn to recognise a wide range of menopause symptoms.
- Understand how menopause may impact colleagues, friends or family members.
- Build confidence in talking openly and sensitively about menopause.
- Discover practical ways to support others who may be experiencing symptoms.
- Learn where to signpost for reliable help, resources and professional support.
- Contribute to creating a more supportive, inclusive and informed workplace culture.
The meeting will provide an opportunity to ask questions in a safe, non‑judgmental environment as you network with other RCN members.
The session will be held on Microsoft Teams. A link to join the meeting will be sent to you once you register your details to attend. If joining from a mobile device, you may find it useful to download the MS Teams app in advance of the session.
We look forward to seeing you at an event soon.
