We’re coming to Grampian - why not join us to find out what the RCN can do for you.
We want to meet registered nurses, nursing support workers and nursing students on placement. We’ve got lots of information about the support and advice we can offer you. We’ll have lots of great RCN merchandise to give away.
We’ll also be talking about how you could help support fellow members in one of our rep roles - steward, learning rep, health and safety rep or job evaluation rep. Find out how we can support you to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to become active and make a difference in the workplace.
We’ll be visiting acute and community sites, and running stalls. RCN reps and staff will be on hand to answer your questions and give away RCN merchandise.
We are still finalising our schedule, but look out for us over the two days in the following locations:
Aberdeen Royal Infirmary:
- Ward walkabout
- Stall
- Q&A briefings on job evaluation
Walkabout at other hospitals including:
- Aberdeen Maternity Hospital
- Dr Grays Hospital
- Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital
- Royal Cornhill Hospital
- Woodend Hospital
Drop-in visits at various community locations, including:
- Aberdeen
- Banff
- Buckie
- Elgin
- Fraserburgh
- Inverurie
- Peterhead
Nursing Support Worker education events:
- Royal Cornhill Hospital (14 October)
- Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (15 October)
Locations may change as we finalise details and depending on room/space availability.
