Do you work at a site within Imperial College Healthcare Trust? We'll be there from 3 – 4 August to talk to you about job evaluation and the band 5 review in England.
How much do you know about job evaluation, the new national nursing job profiles, and how this affects how much you get paid?
We'll be visiting multiple sites across Imperial College Healthcare Trust to speak to you about all this and more. We'll have stands where you can come and speak to us, as well as presentations to talk you through job evaluation, with the opportunity to ask us about what you can be doing now and what to expect.

Why this matters
Last year, new national nursing profiles were published; these are used as part of the job evaluation process. This, in turn, determines the pay bands for all NHS roles on Agenda for Change contracts.
Your job description is a crucial part of this and needs to be an accurate reflection of your role.
The government has instructed NHS employers in England to review every band 5 job description, but this is just the start. All nursing jobs should be reviewed or have recently undergone a review against these new profiles – no matter which band you’re on.
This is your opportunity to speak to us and highlight your concerns so you feel empowered to engage with the job evaluation process.

Who will I be able to speak to?
During our visit to Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, in addition to our staff and representatives, you'll be able to meet the Pay Delivery Officers for your region.
London Pay Delivery Officer Julie Thornton
Julie Thornton is a Pay Delivery Officer at the Royal College of Nursing with more than 25 years' NHS experience including in senior clinical leadership, patient safety and service improvement.
Julie is committed to ensuring nursing staff receive fair recognition and reward for the work they do.
London Pay Delivery Officer Cristina Tistu
Cristina Tistu is a Pay Delivery Officer for the London Region, supporting the organisation's Know Your Worth campaign. In this role, she works closely with members, employers and local representatives to promote understanding of the NHS job evaluation process and support nursing staff seeking fair recognition and reward for the work they do. A key focus of her work is supporting members through the Band 5 re-evaluation programme, helping them navigate the process with confidence and access the information and guidance they need.
Cristina has an academic background in law, holding an LLB degree and a Master's degree in employment law, with a particular focus on trade union rights and workplace relations. Her interest in employment rights and workplace fairness led her to a career supporting workers and advocating for equitable treatment in the workplace.
Through her current role, Cristina delivers engagement events, presentations and roadshows across NHS trusts in London, raising awareness of job evaluation and empowering members to understand and articulate the value of their roles within the profession.
