As well as the usual branch meeting with reports from organisations all around the branch area, there will be a fascinating guest talk on sexual health, the history of the LGBT union movement and supporting LGBT colleagues.
Our guest speaker Jason Warriner qualified as a nurse in 1993 and has been involved with the RCN for over 30 years at a local, regional and national level. Jason initially specialised in cardiac nursing before moving into the field of HIV and sexual health. He has been Chair of the RCN Public Health Forum and is now a Fellow of the RCN. He is Director of Care Quality and Governance at the Terrence Higgins Trust, where he has worked since 2009.
Here is the agenda for the meeting.
