These take place on the last Tuesday of the monthly between 4-5pm in the Emma Ferbrache Room, or online via Teams.

After RCN Congress in June 2026, which two Guernsey Branch members were funded by the RCN to attend, we are taking forward the following issues, championed by Nimrod, one of our Safety Reps: Any member can join a workstream group that will be formed to look at these issues individually. 1. Safe, Ethical & Person Centred Care
Supporting staff to deliver realistic person centred care that is safe and ethical — without blame, guilt or constant apology for system pressures.
2. Confidence to report and address issues around Equality Diversity & Inclusion (EDI)
Building confidence, skills and support for staff to challenge issues around EDI and speak up safely and professionally.
3. Misinformation in Healthcare
Exploring the impact of misinformation (social media, AI, “Dr Google”) on trust, vaccination uptake, treatment compliance and staff practice.
