UHP Band 5 workforce review: a partnership success

This session will demonstrate what can be achieved through genuine partnership working while offering attendees the opportunity to meet executive colleagues, hear organisational and union updates, and raise issues or concerns.
The talk at this meeting will showcase University Hospital Plymouth's Band 5 workforce review, a nationally recognised example of exceptional partnership working between management and staff side.
Led through close collaboration, the review aims to ensure colleagues are appropriately recognised and rewarded for the work they undertake, with many roles expected to transition from Band 5 to Band 6 following evaluation.
Vicky Brotherton, RCN Lead Representative and UHP Staff Side Chair, will share the progress made so far, lessons learned, and the next steps in this significant workforce initiative.
