Join us for this free webinar delivered by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), which aims to provide a comprehensive update on current and future work across the organisation, and offers the opportunity to better understand regulatory change.
This webinar is aimed at nursing and midwifery roles who are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), or who are about to be registered with the NMC (e.g. final year nursing students, final year trainee nursing associates). This webinar is organised by RCN Wales, but you do not have to be based in Wales to join us!
The session will include:
- An overview of the NMC’s strategic priorities and ongoing programmes of work
- Insight into the nursing workforce, including key trends and challenges
- An update on fitness to practise (FtP), including current approaches and the FtP improvement plan.
- Exploration of the transformation under way at the NMC, with a particular focus on becoming an anti‑racist regulator and embedding positive organisational culture
- Updates on changes and developments relating to The Code and revalidation, and how these affect registrants in practice
There will be opportunity to ask questions and participate in discussion throughout the event.
This event is open to both members and non-members.
