Natasha Witchell
Natasha Witchell is a Nurse Manager at The Fertility Home the only independent fertility clinic in South Wales. She has extensive experience in gynaecology and fertility nursing. She qualified as an adult nurse in 2015 and began her career on the gynaecology ward at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff, where she developed a strong interest in women’s health during her nurse training.
In 2019, Natasha transitioned into fertility nursing, completing a diploma in pelvic and early pregnancy ultrasound alongside her clinical role. She has since developed a special interest in nutrition and the fertility journey, with a strong emphasis on emotional support and patient wellbeing, recognising the physical and psychological demands fertility treatment can place on individuals and couples.
Natasha is highly skilled in embryo transfer and is passionate about expanding this competency across her nursing teams. She is a qualified Nurse Prescriber, supporting independent prescribing, particularly within satellite clinic settings.
In her current role as Nurse Manager, Natasha is committed to empowering and developing nurses, ensuring they have opportunities to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge. She is a compassionate practitioner who delivers holistic, patient-centred fertility care and continually seeks opportunities to improve clinical practice and patient outcomes.
In 2024, Natasha joined the Fertility Nursing Forum Committee and is proud to contribute to the education and empowerment of fertility nurses, supporting excellence in care for patients and families.
