RCN Eastern members are invited to join us for a drop-in session on job evaluation.
RCN Eastern members are invited to join us for an online drop-in session about the Band 5 nursing review and wider job evaluation issues.
Your job description should accurately reflect the work you are currently required to do. The review of Band 5 nursing roles in England gives members an important opportunity to check whether their job documentation and existing banding remain accurate. However, job evaluation applies to all Agenda for Change roles, and members at any band are welcome to attend.
Come along with any questions about your employer's Band 5 review, updating your job description, obtaining your job documentation or requesting a job evaluation.
Where available, it may be helpful to bring your:
- job description
- person specification
- Matched Job Report or previous evaluation report
- communications from your employer about its review process
Steve Haynes, RCN Eastern Pay Delivery Officer, can help you understand your documentation, identify possible gaps and consider the next steps using the RCN's Know Your Worth guidance. You can also attend if you are having difficulty obtaining an accurate job description or Matched Job Report, or if you are concerned about how your employer is conducting its review.
You do not need to have all your documentation before attending.
This session is most suitable for members who have already attended one of our Introduction to Job Evaluation, the Band 5 Review and Know Your Worth webinars.
Visit the RCN Eastern events page to find out about upcoming sessions and learn more about job evaluation and RCN support.
