With 91 per cent of nursing colleagues and 51 per cent of our patients being female, the RCN Derbyshire branch is hosting a study day that focuses on women’s health.
Topics and presenters include:
- Pregnancy at work - Charlotte Glynn, Chair of the RCN Women’s Health Forum Committee and Lead Nurse, British Pregnancy Advisory Service
- Menopause passport - Denise Crouch, Adult Health Manager, Derby County Community Trust
- Endometriosis - Zoe Lapwood, Endometriosis Specialist Nurse, Endometriosis UK
- Breast self-awareness - Karen Ives-Smith, RCN Derbyshire Branch Treasurer
There will also be an update on branch activities, which will be provided by RCN Derbyshire Branch Chair Rita Merrison.
This study day is suitable for Nurses, Nursing Associates, Nursing Support Workers and Students, and will be an informative day irrespective of gender.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided, and you will need to register to attend. We recommend you book your place now, as spaces will be limited at this in-person event.
You will need to log-in to your RCN account before booking. If you don't have an RCN account, it's a really simple process to create one - just follow the steps provided.
