Join the Urgent and Emergency Care Forum for an essential webinar exploring the vital role of Emergency Department and Urgent Treatment Centre nurses in reducing violence.
This webinar will focus on core competencies for nurses working in Urgent and Emergency Care settings relating to violence reduction.
This will include discussion of Information Sharing to Tackle Violence (ISTV), an anonymised dataset used to support preventative approaches to violence reduction. The webinar will also explore how nurses can support people affected by violence when they present for care, providing practical insights and approaches to recognising risks and reducing harm.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about the important role of UEC nurses in reducing the impact of violence on patients and in our communities.
Audience: Predominantly nurses working in Emergency Departments and Urgent Treatment Centres but will appeal to nurses working in other settings.
Agenda: two 15-20 minute speakers followed by a 15–20-minute Q&A.
