Join us for the launch of the Equalities Organising Discussion Group with Chair of Council, Carmel O Boyle and RCN President, Bejoy Sebastian.
In a world of rising racism, misogyny and bigotry, we are surrounded by divisive rhetoric, and it’s time to make a stand.That is why we are launching the equalities discussion groups to create shared spaces in which we learn how to organise and win on matters of equalities.
We will explore: What is power? How do we create change? What does it mean to organise around equalities issues? How can we ensure that the RCNs new equalities networks will be impactful and effective?
What to expect:
It’s a relaxed space to learn, reflect and try things out so that we can organise and win real change in our communities.
This will be part of a series and will be guided by the people in the room.
