Develop reflective writing skills for nursing practice, reflection models, and turn learning into action through writing and discussion.
Reflection is central to nursing. This workshop led by published writers will support you to develop an understanding of reflective writing and its benefits and explore writing as an integral part of your role as a reflective practitioner. You will get an opportunity to practice different models for approaching reflective writing in your day-to-day work.
Through writing exercises and discussion, participants will examine the importance of asking yourself practice-related questions, reflecting on what you think and feel and putting your learning into action as nurses, midwives and nursing support workers.
This event is being held in partnership with the Royal Literary Fund. The session will be led by writer Alicia Foster.
Royal Literary Fund writers work in universities, with businesses and charities, and with NHS trusts to show people how to approach and plan different types of writing and to help them feel proud of their finished work.
