A participatory workshop led by published writers, who will help you to gain confidence in your writing abilities.
Are you new to writing, or just want to build up your skills? This beginner’s workshop for RCN members helps you to boost your writing confidence. A professional writer from the Royal Literary Fund will share the tools and techniques they use every day, in a free practical workshop where you will get to try out your skills as you learn.
We will look at the basics of writing clearly and concisely, with tips and checklists that you can introduce straight away into all your writing tasks. You’ll come away with practical frameworks for planning and checking your work, and renewed enthusiasm for sharing your ideas.
This event is being held in partnership with the Royal Literary Fund. This session will be led by writer Clare Shaw.
Royal Literary Fund writers work in universities, with businesses and charities, and with NHS trusts to show people how to approach and plan different types of writing and to help them feel proud of their finished work.
