The RCN is not just for NHS members. The agenda for this meeting includes a presentation from our new Lead Nurse - Independent Health and Social Care (Northern Region), Angie MacDonald at 1:30pm.
Angie, Northern region's newest staff member, will lead an open discussion called: 'Stronger voices, stronger workforce: shaping the future together in the independent sector and growing membership'..
The talk will cover the joint Yorkshire & the Humber and Northern region Independent Health and Care Sector Network. All ideas about how to improve and grow membership within this important sector and what a future network could look like will be welcome. The discussion will also include a section on strengthening employment relations with independent sector employers,
If you work in the independent sector then come with your honest thoughts and ideas about what belonging to a union is all about and how you'd like the branch to support you this year and we will do our best to accommodate you and signpost you to the many incredibly useful resources that already exist for you on our website.
