RCN Northumberland Tyne and Wear Branch AGM and pensions advisor update
18 Sep 2026, 13:00 - 16:00
Choose event information:
This is a chance for members to actively choose or join your branch team and influence next year's activity and priorities, while also refreshing and updating on the latest pensions intelligence.
We'll be conducting the business of the branch AGM and incorporating a visit from our very own Chair and Vice Chair of Council, Carmel O’Boyle and Natalie Brooks.
The event will include a presentation from Quilters, the RCN's preferred advisors, on pensions, including:
- how your NHS pension works
- what is the McCloud Remedy and does it affect me?
- when you can take your pension and how to work out how much you can expect to receive.
This is a map to help you reach the NSECH Academy meeting site.
Until you can book a place online or via our Events Registration Team you can contact Colette and ask her to book you on manually.
There are three main types of branch executive role. Read about them and consider putting yourself forward for one. Written submissions sent into the office in advance will take precedence over those made verbally on the day of the meeting. This is an RCN governance rule to ensure fairness.
