Learning outcomes
- Gain insight into the opportunities and challenges of ophthalmic nursing and how nurses fit within the multiprofessional context.
- Explore and identify current challenges with delivering eye care services and the latest innovations that are improving the patient experience and outcomes.
- Discuss and debate the current and future training and education needs of ophthalmic nursing, importance of certification for visual impairment and changes to legislation to improve the process.
- Remain professionally up to date on a range of ophthalmic topics.

This conference is aimed at any member of the nursing team involved in advising, treating and caring for those with ocular health needs, both in the NHS and independent sector.
