Choose event information:
This free lunchtime webinar will take place on 15 July 2026 from 12:30 to 13:30, and will introduce attendees to the revised RCN Accreditation policy, which now allows a broader range of education, training and learning resources to be accredited.
The session is designed for both new and existing clients who want to understand how the updated policy broadens the service and what this means for organisations developing education, learning and development materials. The RCN team will explain what types of resources can now be considered for accreditation, how the application process works, and the standards we look for when reviewing submissions.
You’ll hear directly from the subject‑matter experts who lead and manage the accreditation process:
- Gill Coverdale, Head of Education
- Linda McGrath, Professional Lead for Accreditation
- Nicholas Paterson, Project Manager for Accreditation.
Their insight and experience will give you a clear understanding of how the revised policy strengthens quality assurance and supports organisations in enhancing the credibility of their education and development offer.
A dedicated Q&A segment will give attendees the opportunity to put their questions to the team. By the end of the session, you will have a clear understanding of the revised policy, the types of resources the RCN can accredit, and how to take the next step if you are considering submitting your own materials.
If you need further information about the webinar, please contact the organising team at accreditation@RCN.ORG.UK
