This program aims to facilitate deputy managers in nursing homes to embrace their leadership role, focusing on person-centred practice and healthful cultures. The aim is to enable them to ensure and maintain safe, effective, and compassionate care grounded in a rights-based approach within their areas of responsibility. Participants will explore leadership styles with their peer group, fostering supportive relationships and enhancing their ability to manage teams effectively. Participants will be allowed to enhance their abilities to manage their teams effectively. This programme is underpinned by person centred practice to support the mental health and emotional well-being of staff.This programme is aimed at Independent Sector nursing home deputy managers.
Please note: places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Programme 2 dates: Friday 12, Monday 15, & Tuesday 16 March 2027, 10am - 4pm each day.
