Respecting age in urgency: Compassionate emergency care for older adults
This workshop is a dedicated study day designed to enhance the knowledge, confidence and clinical skills of emergency care professionals in supporting older adults who present to Emergency Departments (ED).
With an ageing population and increasing number of complex presentations in urgent care settings, this day will focus on delivering evidence based compassionate and person-centered care in ED.
This workshop will blend expert-led teaching with practical workshops, enabling participants to build both theoretical understanding and hands-on competence in essential care for older adults in ED.
Attendance is open to all nursing staff, advanced nurse practitioners and other allied professionals working within emergency departments.
