We’re running a webinar on job evaluation to help ensure that nurses wprking in the community who hold a specialist qualification get properly rewarded for the work you are doing now.
Do you hold a qualification recordable on Part 3 of the Nursing and Midwifery (NMC) register?Perhaps you’ve got a Specialist Practitioner Qualification (SPQ) in community nursing and are working in the community in the field of:
- Children’s nursing
- Learning disabilities nursing
- Mental health nursing
- District nursing
- General practice nursing.
Or maybe you’re a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) working as a:
- Health visitor
- School nurse
- Occupational health nurse
- Public health nurse.
And you are being paid below Band 7.
If so, we want to hear from you at our forthcoming webinar.
Job evaluation needed
Registration on Part 3 of the NMC register is an essential requirement in the job descriptions for these roles.
We believe that the minimum education standards, autonomy in practice and demands of specialist community and public health roles have not been adequately recognised through the NHS Job Evaluation Scheme.
RCN calling for action
We’re calling for action through job evaluation to help ensure that you get properly rewarded for the work you are doing now.
We’ve got plans to seek national recognition on this and action from employers.
You can help us achieve this.
Join our webinar to find out more.
