Join us in person or online for the launch of our new exhibition about the history of migration and nursing. This exhibition shows that migration has long been at the heart of nursing. Well before the NHS, Nightingale nurses journeyed across the globe, while several RCN founders travelled as military nurses, in South Africa and beyond.
Enjoy free refreshments and a chance to look around the exhibition, alongside activities.
Join chair Professor Pam Smith, RCN Fellow, for a series of talks exploring historical and contemporary migration including hearing from Dr Radha Adhikari, Lecturer in University of the West of Scotland, on contemporary international nurse migration of Nepali nurses.
Following the launch, the exhibition will be open for visitors Mondays to Thursdays 10 – 4pm.
