Join our conference created for student nurses at Oxford Brookes University.
We have a full day designed to support and inspire you at every stage of your student journey.
The event is free to attend and, alongside a reflection, will count towards your practice hours.
You will hear from:
- Carmel O’Boyle, RCN Chair of Council: Understand the professional leadership and function of the College
- Vanessa Coelho, RCN Institute and Leadership Academy Defining leadership, what is special about student leadership, and how does this prepare you for RN leadership
- Mary Bichard, RCN Regional Student Representative and Award of Merit Winner, a personal story of student to RN leadership
- Jim Blair, Diversity of Nursing inclusive values and what do adult nurses need to consider when caring
There will also be three interactive workshops on:
- Leadership Simulation
- Essential leadership behaviours and skills
- Managing feelings of being an imposter
You do not need to be a RCN member to attend this conference.
