Join Alex Brenchley and make your very own single panel ‘gag’ cartoon in this wellbeing session for RCN members.
Alex Brenchley is an artist and cartoonist based in London. His cartoons have been used by many publications and institutions including the BBC, NHS, Vittles and Literary Review. New Statesman featured his ‘This England’ cartoon series in every issue from 2017 to 2023, and his webcomic ‘Life After Cancer’ is published by The Wellcome Collection.
Come and enjoy playing with words and drawings to make your very own single panel ‘gag’ cartoon! With just some drawing materials and your imagination, we can discover ways to find silliness and humour from a blank piece of paper.
What to bring:
- pencil and/or pens for writing and drawing
- blank paper and/or index cards
- scissors
