All RCN Black Country members are invited to attend their Annual General Meeting, which is being held online via Microsoft Teams. The meeting will also incorporate a learning event focusing on the work of NMCWatch and how to protect your PIN.
Learning event: Protecting your PIN
Nursing and midwifery are vital and necessary professional and societal roles which, with incredibly rare exceptions, are entered with the aim of delivering the best possible care to our patients.
However sometimes things go wrong, whether that's by accident, through system failures or because of other faults, which means we need robust help and support.
Presented by Phil Cole, Chair of the RCN's UK Stewards' Committee, and Cathryn Watters, founder and director of NMCWatch, this learning event will explore how the RCN supports its members through these incidents, as well as examining the policies and practices of the NMC and providing an insight into how to navigate what happens during a fitness to practice journey.
Branch Annual General Meeting
Come along to your branch Annual General Meeting, which is your chance to make a difference by shaping local branch activities for the year ahead and electing your branch committee members.
It's vital that members attend and elect their new branch executive.
Both the AGM and learning event will be held online via Microsoft Teams - to register your attendance, please book your place here. Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email which includes the link to join the Microsoft Teams meeting on the day.
You will need to log-in to your RCN account before booking. If you don't have an RCN account, it's a really simple process to create one - just follow the steps provided.
