All RCN Coventry and Warwickshire members are invited to attend this online learning event. Presented by Samuel Agyapong, a Senior Research Nurse for the UK Dementia Trials Network, this session will help attendees discover how the abolition of the slave trade can offer powerful lessons for modern nursing.
This thought-provoking session explores the impact of historical injustice on health, as well as the importance of compassion, advocacy, and equity. It will consider how understanding the past can strengthen culturally sensitive and person-centred care for today's diverse communities.
