Your voice matters: Listening and reflection for maternity staff

This webinar provides a safe space for maternity staff to share experiences, explore the impact on their practice and wellbeing, and help identify workforce challenges to inform future support and advocacy.
Recent inquiries and reviews into maternity and neonatal care have had a significant impact on those working across maternity services. At Congress 2026, RCN members shared concerns about increasing pressures on already stretched teams, the effect on morale, and a sense that recommendations do not always lead to meaningful and lasting improvements.
The Midwifery Forum invites maternity staff to join this supportive virtual listening event to share experiences, reflect on the impact of recent inquiries on their professional practice and wellbeing, and discuss what is needed to foster a culture of learning, compassion, and improvement. This is a safe space for open and honest conversation, where your voice and experiences matter.
The discussion will help us better understand the challenges facing the workforce and identify themes that can inform future support and advocacy for maternity staff.
The next session will be held on the 21 October at 12pm.
