This year, we’ll be hosting a special ceremony in December to celebrate our award winners. But first, we need your help to find them!
Do you work with a Rising Star?
A Rising Star is someone bursting with potential — a colleague whose nursing expertise and talent are on the rise and deserve recognition.
They might be:
- A nursing support worker showing outstanding leadership potential
- A nurse, midwife, or health visitor who role models exceptional practice, has helped develop new services, or advocates for patients and colleagues
- A nursing student whose enthusiasm and commitment shine through
- A nurse in higher education who is inspiring the next generation of nursing talent
These are just a few examples — we want to hear about anyone you believe is truly exceptional.

Nominees must:
- Be from the global majority (Black, Asian, or minoritised ethnic background)
