Professor Lis Neubeck, Head of the Centre for Cardiovascular Health at Edinburgh Napier University, received the outstanding achievement award at the RCN Scotland Nurse of the Year Awards ceremony tonight (23 May 2024).

Outstanding-Lis Lis was celebrated for her tireless dedication and passion for nursing innovation and research which has revolutionised health care delivery, particularly in the realm of spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) in Scotland. Her ability to foster a supportive and collaborative environment has led to improved teamwork, communication, and ultimately, the delivery of exceptional care.
