Forums and networks
Forums and networks are groups of RCN members who work or have an interest in a particular area of professional nursing practice.
All forums provide you with the opportunity to keep up-to-date with development in your field, contribute in consultations, network with your peers and explore career development opportunities.
You can join more than one forum, but have to nominate one as your first choice, as this can impact on the power of a forum by influencing its voting rights at RCN Congress.
Networks bring members together in different ways – sometimes in a region or country, sometimes through a forum, sometimes by staff bringing members together, or members finding each other.

The RCN forums and networks review looked at the ways in which our forums and networks function and made recommendations for how they could be improved. A full report on the review is now available.

We want to hear your event ideas
Our next exhibition will focus on the history of nursing support workers, from the 1800s to the present day. We’d like to involve more RCN members in our programme through an open call for event proposals.
Featured forum: Education forum
We are open to all members who have an interest in education, including registered nurses, nursing associates, health care support workers, apprentices and undergraduate students.
Our members include those working in clinical practice, education and training roles within service provider organisations, as well as further and higher education.
