Born and raised in Liverpool, Margaret is known for her tireless battle for justice following the Hillsborough disaster in 1989.

Margaret’s 18-year-old son James was one of the 97 football fans who lost their lives as a result of the events that day. 

Margaret will welcome delegates to her home city and speak to Congress about campaigning for justice and equality.
